AYUSH PROGRAMME

3.     AROGYA MELA :

          AROGYA 2010 Programme was organized during 13^th – 15^th April,2010 at the Assam Rifle Ground, Aizawl , Mizoram.

          The Inaugural function was Held at 10:00 AM on 13^th April, 2010 Which was chaired by Pu.Vanhela Pachuau IAS, Chief Secretary, Mizoram and His Excellency the Governor of Mizoram, Lt.Gen.M.M. Lakhera was the Chief Guest who had Delivered an Inaugural.

 

Moreover, the following high officials had delivered speech in the function.

1.     Pu. Vanhela Pachuau, IAS,Chief Secretary, Government of Mizoram

2.     Smt.S.Jalaja , IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Health anf Family Welfare, Government of India, Department of AYUSH, New Delhi.

          During the AROGYA Programme, some renowed Indian Companies of Herbal project like Dabur, Vaidyanath, Zandu and Himalaya etc.had displayed partitional Indian system of Healing cum sales of various kinds of Ayurvedic and Herbal products. It was also demonstrated YOGA and the aspects of the Indian tradition of healing of body, mind and spirit.

 

            The Programme was also benefited by other Department like different section of DHS such as NRHM, TB Control, MEM, Malaria, MSACS, Agriculture, Horticulture etc. opened one stall each and gave keen interest in the Mela.

            The overall Programme was very interesting and Successful.
