IEC activities : Review Meetings are held quarterly along with other vertical health societies, apart from this advertisement in the form of Video spots at local channels, display advertisements at newspapers, printing and distribution of pamphlets and awareness campaigns are conducted.
Special Dearness allowances for special reporting units : It may kindly be noted that many villages in Mizoram are situated at places which are not accessible by motor vehicles and are not even electrified, in order to receive reports regularly from these isolated places, it is a must to get them by means of special messengers, Health workers who are working in these places have many responsibilities besides our programme and they cannot be expected to come every week to submit their receipts, so it follows that, they have to resort on hiring special messengers to submit their reports with approval from their designated CMO, it is agreed and considered necessary at the Review meetings and hence these messengers are paid for their services.
